    CDR Ernest Allen “Al” Parkin USN founded HAL, Inc. in 1992. CDR Parkin, whose honorable and highly decorated 25-year service as a US Naval Officer included Systems Integrator, Pilot (helicopter and fixed wing), and Senior Logistics Systems Architect. His vast development and leadership experience led him to create the first true logistics software system specifically focused on addressing the needs of project logistics companies that service large energy centric capital projects and the complexities therein from Conception to Consumption. HAL, Inc. brought that vision to market with C2C.

     

    HAL, Inc.’s products were an immediate success and quickly grew industry-wide acceptance and a significant customer following. HAL, Inc. solutions eventually became the de facto standard in the industry resulting in many project-based shippers requiring the use of HAL, Inc. solutions for all their capital projects around the world.
